Sehion Mar Thoma Church

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Sehion Mar Thoma Church was established in 2004 to serve the spiritual and community needs of Mar Thomites living in the northeastern Dallas Metroplex. What began with rented space in Richardson soon grew into a vision for a permanent home, and by God’s grace, land was purchased in Plano in 2005. Just a few years later, in January 2009, the doors of our new sanctuary were opened and dedicated for worship.

As part of the Diocese of North America and Europe of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar, our church continues to be a place where faith and fellowship come together. We celebrate Holy Communion in Malayalam on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, and in English on the 2nd and 4th Sundays—serving both our heritage and the next generation.

Today, under the leadership of Rev. Robin Varghese, Sehion Mar Thoma Church remains a spiritual home for families, a community of worship, and a place where believers are encouraged to live out their faith in Christ every day.
