WHY YOUR GIFT MATTERS

Giving isn’t just something we’re supposed to do—it’s something we get to do. It’s a privilege that fills our hearts with joy.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

We give not because anyone forces us to, but because gratitude moves us. We give because we trust God, and because we want to be part of the good work He’s doing in our church, our community, and across the world.

Love
Giving is a form of worship. It’s how we respond to God’s love and take part in His kingdom. We don’t give to earn His favor—we give because His love already fills our lives.

“We love because he first loved us.”

Respect
Generosity shows reverence and gratitude. It reminds us that God—not wealth—is our true source of security. When we open our hands, we open the door for His blessings to pour in.

“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house… if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Wisdom

To give is to invest in eternity. Everything on earth fades, but what we give in love and faith lasts forever.

“Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
— Matthew 6:20

There’s no better use of our time, gifts, or resources than joining in the mission of Jesus—because what we give toward Him never loses its value.
