CSI Congregation of Dallas
The CSI Congregation of Dallas has its roots in the early 1970s, when a few families longed to worship in their own tradition but had no ordained CSI Presbyter in the area. They gathered in homes and local churches, keeping their faith alive until God provided the way forward. In 1978, with the arrival of Rev. K.S. George, CSI worship officially began in Dallas, marking the humble beginning of what would grow into a vibrant congregation.
Through the decades, the church has been blessed with dedicated presbyters and steady growth. From small gatherings to acquiring sanctuaries in Dallas, Garland, and beyond, the congregation has seen God’s hand at every step. Unity has always been at the heart of this journey—bringing together families and even merging congregations under one fellowship. Leaders like Rev. Anoop George Joseph, Rev. Ninan Jacob, and others have guided seasons of growth, while today Rev. Rejeev Sugu serves as Vicar, continuing the vision of a united CSI community in Dallas.
What began with just a few families has now grown to nearly seventy, with a lively worship service, a choir that lifts hearts, a strong youth fellowship, a dedicated women’s fellowship, and a thriving Sunday School. Together, we are more than a congregation—we are a family, carrying forward the faith of our ancestors and building a place where the next generation can dream, worship, and serve.
We believe the blessings we enjoy are not of our own making but the Lord’s doing—the same Lord who still multiplies five loaves and two fish. Our story continues, rooted in Christ and open to the future He has prepared. We invite you to join us on this pilgrimage of faith, unity, and service.
